A five-year-old boy was bitten by their family dogs in their home.
His mother need to the scene to undertake saving her son but the dogs reportedly pounced on the mother and was bitten severely by the dogs.
This incident happened on Sunday evening.
According to Netcare 911 spokesperson, Shawn Herbst, he said paramedics were called at 5.30pm to a residence in Elardus Park, Pretoria.
A loved one said the 2 dogs had been fighting with one another before the five-year-old ran towards the house.
The two dogs decided to vent their anger on the kid instead.
“The two dogs turned their attention to the young child and he suffered serious trauma after being bitten. The mother intervened and was bitten multiple times.”
Mother and child were treated at the scene before being transported by ambulance to the hospital for further treatment.
