Blaqkongo is back with a 3 track EP titled, ‘A Gemini Moon Phase’. The title track opens up the EP to a deep and dark space with evolving chords, shuffling hats, and a bassline that will shake up any system. The second track, ‘Forbidden Fruit’ picks up from that dark space but incorporates Afro flavours and inspiring chords that take the song to a new dimension. Closing off, ‘Love Evolves’ comes in as the light to the darkness, adding colour and brightness to the EP in the form of a smooth & emotive, perc and bassline driven track.
